My name is Alison Jones

I am running to be your next Pima County Democratic Party Chair

I am running because of my concerns about our community and our state. I am a scientist, employed as a hydrogeologic consultant, and I am very active in the community. As a proud Democrat, my values are Democratic values.

My strengths include proven organizational skills that can bring meaningful change to the Pima County Democratic Party. There is so much opportunity in Pima County to have an impact locally and statewide. My vision for success in 2020 is based in implementing ways to work smarter as we develop ways to work together with partners who share our vision.

I invite you to learn more about me through this video and by visiting my Facebook page. Please share your ideas on how to make our county party the leader of Democratic success in 2020.

What Others are Saying about Alison…

I have known Alison for over a decade and can vouch for the fact that she is an effective leader whose style is strongly collaborative. As secretary, and then president of the Arizona Geological Society, she brought several important innovations to the offices she held and to the society overall. She is outstanding at keeping meetings on track, while giving everyone a chance to speak. She is an excellent, extemporaneous speaker and communicator, and has a warm, engaging personality.

As a geologist and head of an environmental geology office in Tucson, she has a deep, professional understanding of issues especially important to Arizona and the American Southwest, including water resources, water quality, land subsidence, reclamation of mined areas climate change and global warming. Needless to say, she is on the right side of these technical issues as well social ones.
